*****Notre Dame Spring Musical: The Sound of Music*****
Notre Dame Regional High School is excited to announce the spring musical production of The Sound of Music! When an Austrian postulant proves too high-spirited for the religious life, she is dispatched to serve as governess for the seven children of a widowed naval Captain. Her generosity of spirit, love of music growing rapport with the children gradually capture the heart of the stern Captain. They fall in love and marry. Upon returning from their honeymoon, the newlyweds discover that Austria has been invaded by the Nazis, who demand the Captain's immediate service in their navy. Refusing to capitulate, the Captain and his family narrowly escape over the mountains to Switzerland. Performances will be held on April 3, 4, and 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Notre Dame's Cynthia R. King Performance Hall. Join us for a matinee on Sunday, April 6, at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at www.notredameghighschool.org/musical, or at the door (if available).
